Your choices are kind of limited by those options. Maybe an Officer's model 1911?

I've never had a problem with concealing barrel length and carry a 5" 1911 most of the time. Have you tried a Commander style 1911?

2" .38s are good guns. I really like my all steel M36. Did you give up on the revolver idea?

Can I ask what do you think a good carry pistol would be... I'm looking for something with a 3' barrel and a single stack mag. I like my sc40 but it's to bulking when I'm just trying to stick in my pants or coat pocket when im on the go. THANKS
