I love my XDs but if I had a problem free Kimber I would keep it and save enough money to buy the XD later on.

I love my CDPII ultra carry , I can't see trading mine for anything but , maybe another 1911 , of the same quality. Even that I'd have to think long and hard about!

I have a Kimber UCII in stainless .45 acp and an XDsc in 9mm. Both are great weapons, both are very accurate, both are 100% reliable and both fit my hands very well. IMO keep the Kimber and save for the XDsc. As much as I like XDs I could never get rid of a 1911. To me its a handgun that feels like no other when your shooting it, carrying it, loading it, etc.
