Can't go wrong with the Springfield 1911. The BEST 1911 on the planet.

I've been wanting a Springfield GI model to go with my M1 Garand and 1903 Springfield for some time now....sort of a basic U.S. WWII weapons collection. However, since the .45 is currently produced, I think I'll have to get an M1 Carbine from the CMP first.

I think I like the loaded with Parkerized finish. Looks old school, has some good features out of the box and is a solid platform. Maybe I'll get one this year.
