Since I am not an owner I have done my fair share of competeting against them. Once upon a time... I bowled over a couple STI's and Kimber's with my H&K USP .40!!! Then it broke down and I changed over to the XD(m).

You get some looks when you pull the ol' H&K out, beat up, dirty and slide it into an uncle mikes. Drop a few rounds and then thoose kimber, cz, and sti guys go adjusting to see what they can do to cut times like that. So here here! It is the man not the weapon. But dang the style and class of thoose weapons (1911's) are amazing. I would love to have an Older Kimber for the collection but not for compeititon. I haven't seen them perform as well.
When I really want to shock people I compete using my duty rig and Beretta 92D. Triple retention Uncle Mikes Mirage3 holster and a loooooooong DAO trigger stroke will let you know in a hurry if you arent fundementaly sound.

Did they move again? I've delt with them before but the last time I was in their shop it was right up the road from the DM VA Hospital, and no I'm not looking for a STI if I was I'd go through one of their dealers in Ottumwa. The legend is on my short list however.

They're just west of Merle Hay Mall on Douglas, north side of the road. "Down town Urbandale" per say with the brick streets right there.

Well I picked it up today, and all I had to take photos with was my camcorder. I'll get better pics and put 'em up when my camera makes it's way back home. It's getting it's clean up tonight and going out and getting put through it's passes this weekend. I'll be sure to wear safety glasses with this junker I just purchased.

Here it is with my PT-145.
