EMP owners, what holster do you use?

Looking for some recommendations.

I use several depending on the time of year. I have a CB Supertuck when it's not too hot. Just got a K & D Dakota Defender. Have a Threat Solutions kydex "Ultra Concealment rig" for sale.

EMP Goodies

I use two. An Uncle Mike's went I wear cargo pants with deep pockets or a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 for the winter. Both work well for me.

I use the one that came with the EMP but starting this fall I will be using a nylon shoulder holster that I bought at a gun show that was hand made right here in Alabama. Buy Local! I have a small frame so it's hard to conceal any gun. I can't say enough good things about my EMP.

Just about any holster that's made for a 3" 1911 should also work for the EMP. One caveat though is if you want a thumb break on the holster. You would want to make sure that the holster maker actually used an EMP to make the holster. An EMP will not fit properly in a holster for a 3" 1911 with a thumb break (unless it's something like an Uncle Mikes or similar).

I love the one that was provided. Works great, keeps the gun close, and is free! I don't wear IWB

I've been using the freebie when I carry it, but the only belt I have that fits it is a dress belt. It works ok, but is a little too floppy.

I carry IWB and currently use a Brommeland Max Con V. Still trying to decide how much I like it. I wish it wasn't so much bigger than the gun.

I also have a Comp-Tac MTAC for a 3" 1911, but my EMP fits a bit loose. If you put the gun in the holster, turn the holster upside down, and gently shake it, the gun falls out. I like my guns to fit nice and snug, so I don't use this one.

I plan on putting in an order for a Milt Sparks IWB holster sometime this year.

I'm borderline on the MTAC myself. Your making me second guess myself since yours is loose. Milt Sparks is nice but waiting 9 months on a overpriced holster is silly.
