I have the LW Commander size with the CT Laser Grips. Awesome gun. Shoots very accurately. Never had a problem with it. In fact I put 100 rounds through it this morning.

My father has a 5" model and that thing is a fine weapon. I felt like that gun was our cultural equivalent to a Samurai Sword. I was nailing soda cans repeatedly right away! Made in the USA, (for real, unlike SA's 1911s) beautiful, and dead-on reliable and accurate right out of the box. I NEED ONE!

I have the 1911pd. It is a very nice shooter. Runs flawlessly and I like how light it is. It's well balanced and unfortunately I end up going through a lot more ammo because I can shoot quite a bit longer due to the light weight and easy handling. The tolerances are very good for both the slide and the bearing and the trigger is suprisingly nice. I was surprised at how good it is for a run of the mil gun which is why I bought it even though I wasn't particularly looking for a SW1911pd. One heck of a value if you find a good one.

My 1911PD with C/T is one of my favorite firearms. It is reliable and accurate, what more could you want?
