Can't make up my mind

do I get a Springfield EMP or a Kimber PCII in 9mm?

What's important to you? The PCII is bigger, cheaper, has no ambi-safety (could be wrong) and was retro-fitted to shoot 9mm. The EMP is smaller, probably a couple hundred bucks more (perhaps less if you're looking at a stainless PCII), has an ambi-safety and was built from the ground up to shoot 9mm. I'm sure there are other differences I'm missing.

The Ultra sized Kimbers are closer in size to the EMP (e.g. Ultra Aegis II), though still a bit bigger in places.

I love my EMP. I've never shot the PCII. I've shot an Ultra Aegis II and like my EMP more.

It might be difficult finding an EMP in a LGS that you can hold, but have you compared the feel of the two in your hand?

Good luck with your decision.

Kimbers are easy to find around here nobody has a EMP that I know of locally or I would.

I was kinda leaning more towards the Kimber, because I want to get a Kimber .45 as well sooner or later. I have 3 other .45's so the 9mm comes first . . . LOL Also would like to have both in 4" barrels which leaves the EMP short.

I know Colt makes both as well.
