Also owning a 1911 costs nothing.

Buying a 1911 costs whatever you are willing to pay.

Buying factory 45acp is expensive but Reloading 45acp is very cheap.

reloading .40 is cheaper .

Is it strange that I'm 22.. the first time I've shot a 1911 I was 13 and in that time frame (granted I didn't really shoot at all between 14 and 21) I've only shot .40 and 38 super? haha

Oh and to keep the thread in check... What kinda comp is that on your EXPENSIVE open gun? hehe

Is is nothing more than the standard Sheumann Tribrid. I actually want to swap it for a 9mm Major barrel with a more efficient comp. Like maybe send it to Jo Jo Vidanes of JV Dynamics to get it like this.

She is ugly huh? She can really shoot though. I just need to get her mags working 100% and get a few more. I need at least 3 more.

If it is a double stack I would jump right in!! Just remember you can't jump back and forth unless you are Rob Leatham or Dave Sevigny!

Next Year I plan on shooting a lot of Revolver.
