What did I get today?

So today I got a phone call that something had arrived with my name on it. What could it be? :hmm:

Springfield Armory Loaded 1911 with combat sights. I bought it on gun broker Monday morning and I picked it up just a few minutes ago. So there may be a couple of lusty parts on this gun (beaver tail safety, ambi-safety, flat mainspring housing ), but it's just what I was looking for. I'm going to make a trip to the range this weekend.

Let's see, I picture the phone call being from the wife. "Honey, there's a suspicious looking box here with your name on it...it better not be another d##n gun!"

It does look sweet though!

Sweet! I have one just like it (but with target sights) and I love it!

I'm sure you'll love yours too!

Congrats!

The call was from his FFL. Either that, or BBQ is going to be explaining to the ATF why a gun was delivered to his front door.
