Colt will bring back the Delta Elite soon. If you guys have the option which one would you take, knowing that both are fine guns?

My Dan Wesson is the only 1911 I've ever owned. I've only shot mine, a Kimber Warrior, a Kimber CDPII Pro, and a 1943 WWII GI model. Never shot a Colt.

I love my Dan Wesson. I like it more than any Kimber I've ever shot or fondled.

I looked into them, but they didn't make what I wanted: 5 inch with combat sights. Basically, the Razorback but in .45 ACP

I have one of the original Delta Elites. When I heard that Colt was coming out with the Delta Elite again I was pumped. Could not wait to get one. Then I got my DW CBOB in 10mm and held both the PM7 in 10mm and the RZ10. There is no way I would now buy a Colt DE and have to spend another $300-$500 to bring it up to a level where the DW comes out of the box.

I have several Pony pistols. I highly doubt I will buy another unless it is a screaming deal. And a new Delta Elite is not a deal.

I have to amend my previous post. Either a DW or a Fusion.

That helped me a lot, thanks. Now I know what to get.

I have a CBOB I've been very pleased with. Tight and accurate. Very nice gun for the money. Early on I would have the occasional failure to go fully into battery but after 500 or so rounds that went away.

I got a DW Cbob back in December and I couldn't be happier with it, fit is solid and the quality is just outstanding, I had one issue with the hammer but I called DW CS and I shipped it back to them and they had the gun back to me inside of 10 days.
