Talking Had a bit of work done to my RIA GI

My RIA GI M1911A1 was biting me ... so I had a Wilson beavertail and Commander style hammer fitted ...
Please pardon the cell camera ... took it to the range and put a box of ammo through it

12 Paces - so 10-12 yards ...ish

One of the guys gave me a better target - same distance. Even got a couple head shots in.
I REALLY like this pistol!

Those are two nice upgrades! It will be really nice to get some new sights on there, those stock ones get old quick.

I'm running TFO's on my SA GI 1911. It was a bit spendy to have the dove tail milled for the front sight, but WELL worth it!

It was around $90...but my local 'smith is not known to be the cheapest around. You can probably get it done a bit cheaper.

There are sights available that do not require milling, not a wide choice though.
