Brownells has Black Micarta double diamonds in the price range you specified, If you are gonna run the 10 rounders tou might want to throw a S&A Magwell on it also. For cc the 7-8 rounders make it easier to hide carry the 10 rounders as spares in case the SHTF.

I really dig VZ Grips, John has done a bunch for me to include some for my Bobtailed Colt. Under your $80 price limit too!

Send a message via AIM to paintballwannab
With a smaller mag its perfect for CC

Grips sometimes ebay has decent deals, and a nice selection.

i have several recommendations for grips

1. Mil-tac G10 (my Kimber below wears them sometimes, darker than in the pic), get the diamond, not the slash cut, mine are slash and are a bit rough on the hands, they would flat out open you up if you used them for CC. their website for 1911 grips: Pistol Grips - G10 - 1911 Grips

2. The next set I will have... VZ Aliens. their website:Custom 1911 Grips | Micarta grips

3. also very cool, Davidson grips: monkeygrips

Shredders

Warthogs

1911stuff.com has some different 'graphic' grips. Around your price range.
