Extended Safety & IWB??

OK, so my dad's worn my MTAC with my XD and loves it, but is concerned about carrying his 1911 in an IWB...

He's got a Kimber Ultra Carry II, with the extended safety, and is concerned about the extended safety being wiped "off" unholstering, and didn't know if he should put a standard safety on it...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

No problems with either Kimber or Springfield in my case. I use the Desantis cozy partner.

I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry nearly every day in a Sparks Versa Max II, and have never had the safety wiped off unholstering. On days when I'm not carrying the UC, I'll take a Kimber Compact, also in a VM II. Same situation -- the safety stays put.
