Talking New Kimber Stainless Pro Carry II

I just got one. Put 100 rounds through it. The first 50 were hell. I was beginning to consider the mantra of "success to feed" rather than "fail to feed". After that first fifty it started knocking 'em down like it wasn't even a problem. I ran 7 Hydra Shok's through it before I finished and they fed fine.
I got it home and began reading instructions online for care/feeding of 1911's as I know that they require a bit of babying during the break in. I finally found that Kimber's use a little cdrom ejector looking tool to break them down and that the process is easy (ONCE YOU HAVE DONE IT!?!).
It shot great out of the box even if it sucked at feeding. 100 rounds at 20 yards out of the box in 6" which is as far as I'm concerned superb, all of them measured as headshots on the target I was using.
By now you're wondering what it wasn't feeding. I shot 100 rounds of S&B 230GR FMJ and 7 rounds of Hydra Shok.

Planned upgrades:
two or three kimber mag's
ambi safety (I'm left handed, and right wing. FAIR AND BALANCED AM I!)
gun-works lh IWB 1911 holster (I already have one for my XD and it's almost so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing it, kudos and a hearty recommendation to these guys)

Questions:
The action on this thing is about 10x tighter than my XD, could we please have Kimber remill XD's to these tolerances? Good God but what an amazing piece of hardware that would be.
