Questions about gun oil for 1911

WHat kind of oil do ya'll use? What is your experience with it? I tried some new dry lube on my Smith&Wesson and had all kinds of bad luck at a state match. I had a bunch of failure to feeds. I think it is either the lube or a bad batch of ammo. I know it wasn't my grip, since I've never had this problem before. WHat do ya'll think?

FP-10 a little goes a long way.
Too much lube attracts all kinds of nasty things

I've heard nothing but good things about Gun Butter. Never tried it myself. I've only ever used Rem oil.

Militec-1

It's the best, in my opinion.

I use Mobil 1 5W/30.
Probably any brand of synthetic motor oil would work though.
I clean & oil my pstols in a normal kind of way, but before taking any of them out for a long, hard range session, I oil the heck out of the slide. A very good competition shooter told me once that if you don't have oil running down your arm, you don't have enough oil on your 1911.
