New to me 1927 sorry for the cell phone pics but the step daughter has the good digital and said something about the prom coming up. Give me a break whats more important here? Put for $200.00 with 3 mags and 50 rounds of 45ACP you can't go wrong

Is it okay to say that thing looks beautiful? Even with the crappy(doesn't look that crappy) cellphone camera that looks damn good.

Damn! I'm super jealous!!! I've been looking for a Sistema for a while! The ones I see in my area are asking for $650+

Are the slide/barrel/frame/magazine matching numbers?

I've been looking as well. I was really bummed when I heard Cruffler/JLD no longer offers them for sale. My plan is to find one in that sort of condition, try out rust blueing (sic?) and maybe some nice sights. I love buying Milsurp for the history and you never have to worry about MIM parts. Although the machining can be pretty rough on old guns in general.

I paid 200 bucks for my Sistema....back in 1994!

(this is why I tell everyone that does not have one to buy one of those cheap SIG P6s while they're under 300 bucks...they won't be forever)

What are the markings on the side of the slide with the ejection port? Mine has Buenes Aires Policia markings and was made in 1953. Oh...if these things could talk.

For such ratty looking and loose 1911s...they shoot really well. I love mine. Don't be shocked if the stock mag is crap...most are. No biggie as the Sistema is a true 1911 and any 1911 fullsize mag will work in the 1927 Argie Sistema Colt. The Sistema Colt has a nice, old world quality about it.

Enjoy...you got yesterday's price on it for sure.

Serial number 108623 (MADE IN 1967 FROM WHAT I CAN FIND)

on the other side of the slide it has
