Ooooops, I did it again.
Went and bought me a Kimber Tac Pro and a few spare KimPro Tac mags.
Had one of those damn bugs again and this thing just happened to be there. I hate when that happens. I pick it up tomorrow (had to have it transfered from Georgia to Alabama). I'll get a few pics when I get it home. Time to go look at gun porn.....

Got 'er home
Well, here she is.
Gonna clean her up tonight......actually, just did that. Tomorrow, it's getting about 400 rds of FMJ put through it and another 50 230 gr Hydra Shocks and 50 Speer Gold Dots. I'm waiting for my 185 gr Rem Golden Sabres to get here. Those will be my carry rounds for it, so long as they function well. Now I need to find which IWB I want for it. I'm thinking the VMII. I like the Crossbreed, but this thing ain't going in Kydex. Range report will follow. After that, on the hip it goes. Anyways.... ![]()

First trip to the range with 'er
Well, in short, I'm thoroughly impressed with this gun.
The first 100 rds, I had a few fail to feeds, but I think that is was more due to the original magazine than anything else. Cleaned it after 100 rds, fired the next 100 rds flawlessly. Then switched over to 50 Hydra Shocks and 50 Speer Gold Dots. Only the very first Hydra gave me any problems, again this was the factory mag most likely. After the first hundred, the trigger got really nice, the action cycled smoothly, it launched brass clear over the stall next to me and into the next stall. If you are looking for new mags for your 1911, I can't recommend the KimPro Tac mags enough. They were head and shoulders better than the one that came with the gun. Anyways, here is a pic of the VERY FIRST 6 mags (46 rds) that came out of it. ![]()
