Its close to $50K. Actually, just counting, I have 32, with two on order. That first pic was a quarter of them. I have them in all price ranges, from $4500, down to $400.

I just finished my first 1911 project. Springfield Loaded....had a match grade barrel and bushing fit, slide tightened to frame, upgraded springs and other misc. internals. S&A magwell and Kimber warrior grips.

I love it and would recomend SA to anyone who asked.

Okay, who makes the best DUTY 1911 - with a light rail, etc?

I'm looking at the SA Lightweight Operator or TRP or the Kimber Custom TLE / RL II.

Def. the SA over the kimber.

Between the TRP or LW- I'd say that comes down to what you want out of the gun.

Okay, first I need to apologize for hijacking this thread! Sorry. If the OP would like, I will start another or continue on this.

Now a question, why the SA over the Kimber? I don't have either and simply don't know 1911s enough to know the difference. Any advice is appreciated!

Kimber quality has gone down hill.

Just picked up a used SA Operator with the full length rail. Not the half rail the new models have.
