Taurus PT1911+Hogue grips=legal for IPSC SS?

Hey folks a couple of questions.

1. Are the Hogue grips legal for IPSC/USPSA single stack competition? (Sounds legal from reading the rule books, but wondering if anyone had a more definitive answer)

2. Does it need any cutting, Dremelling or fitting for the ambi safety?

Thank you very much in advance.

Cheers,

Perhaps I should post this on the gun games section.

Thanks.

The grips are legal in USPSA. You may need to relieve the grip a little for the tab of the safety on the right hand side.

Thanks,

I thought as much... but never hurts to take the original grips to the match just in case.

Cheers,
