Need Help

Hey guys I need your help. I don't own a 1911 and I am considering a Sig 1911 for daily CC. Looking to spend between $900.00- $1100.00 I like the compacts, the 1911RCS is looking pretty good. Anybody have any experience with the Sig 1911's.All info is greatly appreciated.

I prefer the traditional internal extractor.

I've shot various 1911s, and out of all that I've shot (not counting full-custom, high-end guns, I mean production), Springfield Armory had the best performing (for me).

Out of personal experience, I only own two. A Springfield G.I. .45 (with match bushing, trigger, trigger job, new sights, and more) and a Kimber Ultra Carry II (still stock, aside from grips).

I have the Springfield currently set up to where to the distant eye it looks like that familiar WWII gun. But upon closer inspection, there's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I also have a Kimber Ultra Carry II, but it has been tempermental. I'm having my gunsmith change the extractor and tune it. Last update is that he's got the gun firing at 100%, and through testing, it has had more than enough for the break-in period.

Out of the two (at the moment) I use the Springfield (or my CZ-75BD) for home defense.
