1911-A1 custom Loaded mag release questions...

Hello all:

I shoot the above 1911 as well as my XDs.... The problem I'm having is with the mag release... After shooting & competing with my XDs for so long I've grown used to hitting the mag release with my shooting hand middle finger while the trigger finger lays along the side... The 1911 does not allow me to do that...

Due to my hand size (wide hands /shorter fingers) I must break my grip to release the mag...

Is there some conversion I can do to move the mag release to the other side or even make it an ambi-release??

As always... any and all help is greatly appreciated...

Semper Fi
