Well, now that the Sistema is finished up, I'm starting on the Para LTC. This was my first 1911 that I bought. I sold it off to a buddy, then bought it back.

Here she is in the last config I did. Which was pretty much only a black Para slide stop, a Gunsite low thumb safety and the Alumagrips.

Parts list....

Mccormick high hold grip safety
Para Extended manual safety
Wilson Mag Catch
Wilson Mag Catch Lock
Wilson Hammer and Sear Pins
Wilson Hammer
Wolf Spring Kit

We also decided to throw in the Meprolight Tritium Night Sights, and some oven cure teflon/Moly gun finish in matte black.

It has also gotten a hand checkered arched main spring housing.

There was some cash left over int he budget, so 8 more mags are on the way for it too.

Progress pics...

Hand checkered 20lpi arched main spring housing, front strap and memory groove on grip safety, blended and radiused grip safety, high grip mod, under cut trigger guard, and a fluff and buff.

It's been put back together, test fired and bead blasted. We're waiting for a day over 10* to do the first coat of moly coat.

I'm excited.

nice looking project...im anxious to see how it turns out. i just picked up a SA loaded and the work is beginning (slowly).
