I found a guy that needs cash fast and is selling his Colt Commander 1991. It is immaculate, extremely little wear on all moving parts. His guesstimate was approx. 250 rounds through it. No box, no extra mags, nothing extra with it. And it has imitation (I assume) pearl grips. I really don't like the pearl grips but so what. $475. I looked around and that seemed to be a pretty good deal. I really wanted a SA Loaded Champion, but the price difference is making me think...... Any thoughts?

If it makes any difference, my CC piece is an XD40 Tactical. This would be much more of a range gun.

I love my Combat Commander. Nothing like the genuine article.

The 1991 is a great platform, I put over 30.000 rounds through mine before selling it for about what you paid for yours so you did great on the price. Resist the urge to customize it as it will be a great no frills carry gun as it is. Replace the recoil spring every 2000 rounds and you will be good to go.
