Once we find out what model it is I can tell you if it was a good buy.

Also as a courtesy turn your caps lock OFF. Its viewed as obnoxious and yelling to type in all caps.

It's a good buy just about no matter what for $500 for an unfired Springfield. The GI models, which we know it isn't, at least the slide isn't, goes for the mid 400s...and every other model is higher in price. I'd say if you get a clean, functioning gun, you got a good deal. I'm still holding on either a Loaded with the ambi safety removed or a Mil-spec that had the beavertail, different hammer, and forward slide serrations added. Not sure why someone would go through the trouble of doing all that without firing it. I'm holding with it being a Loaded minus the ambi safety.

Other than the barrel being stainless and the ambi safety missing, you tell me the difference?

Fixed front sight.

The Springfield site specifically says that ALL loadeds come with dovetail front sights, although others here say they have received different.
If you ask me, the term loaded implies full of features, not plain jane.

As I said before, it will be interesting to find out.

It is a Loaded special Order

It is called a special order Loaded 9103. Comes with either the Novak sight I have... or a night sights, they told me. Also special trigger and some sort of improved trigger movement?? Ejection Port improvement, Checkering front and back and a few other nice little deals. I am very happy with gun. It far and away exceeded my expectations, especially buying it sight unseen. And for 500 hundred dollars no less, unfired. I could not have done much better I don't think. The only thing was I thought it was green OD, but is is just blued. But thats not a big deal. Its a very nice side arm. I am getting a VIntage Holster and magazine belt and holder. It should be fun. Thanks, Buzz
