1911

I am looking at a 1911 but havent shot many and dont know if I will like them. I dont know if I should get a Kimber that I like do to looks or just get a Cheaper one at first like the RIA. What do you think???

Get what serves your purpose...do you want a carry gun? If so, consider the 4.25 or shorter barrel lengths for weight. Consider a bobtail for conceal-ability.

If it's a range gun, consider a match grade setup.

How much do you want to spend? There are other very nice 1911s out there besides Kimber. Check out the STI Spartan...

If you are "testing" the waters, Get the RIA. They are great guns and you won't be disappointed. And like everything, 1911's are addictive and you will eventually want more, and then you can venture into the higher end models.
