Micromax .380 Satin Chrome

I was at the gun shop today and saw a LLama Micromax .380 in Satin Chrome. I was going to post this in the "Other guns" forum, but after field stripping it, I think this is where the post belongs. That aside, does anyone here have any experience with the micromax .380's? It looks like a neat little gun, but I'm wary of its reliability. I've never seen conventional 1911 parts scaled this small before. I know that most makers use a ramped barrel and different spring system when going this small, but everything on the LLama was exactly as it should be except for the pivoting ring on the bottom of the chamber where the slide stop pin secures the barrel- it's missing in favor of a simple bar and pin lockup. I'm kind of beside myself here. It looks like a child's toy, but if it is at all reliable, it might be a fun toy to have. Any thoughts?
