Question can you buy any 1911 full size grips for my 1911 GI springfield?

hey guys im trying to upgrade my 1911 GI SA. there is a really nice grip that i want to buy but when i read its description is for the colt 1911... i dont really know that much about my 1911 so i need some help cause im trying to upgrade it.... thanks

Yes, if your 1911 is a full size GI than any grip for a full size 1911 will fit.

Absolutely. Any grip panels that were made for a 5" Colt Govt. Model will fit the full-size Springfield GI.

My stainless GI wears Wilson Combat's cocobolo double diamond grips. Great pistol...handsome grips, too.
