1911 wih light rail????

I have almost completed my personal arsenal. The only thing I am lacking is a good 1911. For all of you tradionalists, I appologize... I learned on a Glock. Never felt comfortable with one. My only reqeust is that it has a light rail. What are you rpick and why???

Well, the Smith is a great pistol, and very accurate. However, I prefer the looks on this one. Just looks so frickin' manly.

Send a message via AIM to Rainer3012
Taurus is about to release a version of their 1911 with a rail, I've had no experience with their 1911's but I've heard good things.

Which Operator is that? I have never seen one that has a rail the full length of the barrel.

It's the Loaded MC Operator. The older Operators have a full length rail while the newer ones have the partial rail you are used to seeing. I believe Springfield was still making the full length rail recently though as a custom option. Someone else in here may know more about it than I. If not, you will only find these used.

How about a Kimber Warrior or maybe a Sig... ...don't know what they call them, Revolution maybe??

The Kimber would be my first choice, no silly "Series II" stuff, internal extractor, good finish, etc.
