Used 1911 what to look for (Field Strip)
Hey all,
I won't say where but I have a chance to get a springfield 1911-a1 Stainless for $500, which would be my first 1911. I'm pretty sure this is a good price, but what should I look for specifically when checking out its condition. Racking the slide it looks real clean and barely used. The ramp is well polished, but I did not field strip it. Any suggestions of what to look for when I FS this gun? Thanks in advance
