New PT1911
Got my PT1911 out of Lay-A-Way today!! Been there since March 8th. Off to range to enjoy and shoot side by side to my XD45 Service.

I am by far more accurate with the 1911 than the XD, but that has a lot to do with trigger control and the trigger design of each gun. The Taurus shot 50 rounds without a problem. I am still low with the XD but learned that it is because I am anticipating the recoil today . The slide failed to lock on the last shot and when I pulled the trigger on the empty chamber, the muzzle dipped down . Definetly will work on that.
