Do you mean Mother of Pearl? Thats a pearl-ish white semi-precious stone.

Try Ajax Grips in Ft. Worth, TX. They sell nice grips made of mother-of-pearl and they're not all that pricey. Several colors to choose from. Good people to deal with, too.

I have a set of Ajax black buffalo horn grips on my Colt Combat Commander. They have the silver Colt medallions and look great with the satin nickle finish on the old Colt. I'd buy from Ajax again.

Chip McCormick sells some pretty wood grips that are slimline.

If you can swing the price, this woman makes some of the most beautiful 1911/Hi-Power grips I have ever seen. I know someone that has a set on his Hi-power and they're VERY stunning.

You would most likely be speaking about "Pearlite" grips.

Not necessarily in those particular colors but you get the idea. I myself am looking for some white pearlite grips for my kimber...
