Drop-in Parts for 1911

Where do you like to get your 1911 parts from? Who has the best customer service and prices?

I'm looking at Galati International right now unless someone can steer me towards a better option. CDNN Sports looks like they might be a good option also. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Brownells.com is probably the best all around place for parts and I use them a lot. They carry Ed brown, wilson, S&A, C&S and just about everything. Don't take any parts on a 1911 as being drop in, even ones that say drop in. Most everything takes a little "massaging" to get it to fit depending on what kind of 1911 you have. Midwayusa is also a good place to bookmark. There's a saying that the only thing on a 1911 that's actually drop in is the magazine and that's for the most part accurate. It IS possible to get something that actually does drop in though.

Numrich is also pretty good for hard to find stuff, which does not apply to 1911's but I got the best price for a replacement mossy 500 safety there and they carry lots of stuff.
