kimber pro cdp 2

Hello guys,
I just purchased a pro CDP 2, it has the aluminum frame and stainless slide.
I was wondering how well the aluminum frames hold up to ware from the stainless steel slide? Anyone out there own a pro CDP 2 with aluminum frame that can give me some information about the CDP, any special oil or grease to use?
I own a kimber stainless target and a kimber target match and both have performed flawlessly for me.

Thanks for your input.

Do NOT use any magazines with a split follower, Kimber factory Chip McCormics ect. Buy Wilsons, Tripp Cobra's or Metalform or follower upgrade kits from any of the 3 listed. The split followers will scar the hell out of the frame below the feed ramp. I had one and it was a great carry piece, light accurate, reliable. I decided I needed a AR worse and traded accross the board for one. I wish I had that one back.

I have a SA alloy framed 1911 and its run flawless since Ive owned it. I never heard ofr magazine followers scaring the ramp, I use Chip Mcormicks.

Check out 1911.com Believe me it will scar the frame on a CDP, I'm not the only one. It doesnt effect the reliability just a cosmetic issue but not something you want to do with a $1000 pistol.
