1911 17 HM2 Conversions
i just saw that the 17 mach2 1911 conversions have been discontinuted by Kimber a few years ago infact.
Specifically, has anyone shot it at something like a potato or similar. i recently saw the differnce between a 22lr and a 17 hm2 out of a rifle on a potato and can only assume it's similar out of a handgun. the 22lr just put a hole in the potato while the 17HM2 blew the thing up. pieces of potato flew everywhere. it was impressive for such a small round. At any rate, i'm curious because my local store actually has a kimber 17HM2 1911 with frame for sale. but i wanted to see if anyone here shot it and what they thought of it.
