Question Colt Defender's

Ok who has em and do you like them ? Also I can not seem to tell if the ejection port on these little Ponies are lowered and flared?? Thanks Floyd

I don't have one and don't plan on getting one, but they are the most reliable small pistols out there. Mainly because colt went to the dimpled barrel on all of their guns to make easy work of feeding all ammo, including hollow point flying ashtray rounds. I'm betting the other manufacturers will also eventually because it improved the out of the box performance to about the best. The biggest thing with the small guns is the recoil springs have to be changed a lot quicker than larger ones.

That being said the smaller ones CAN be more prone to problems due to shorter recycling distance. Lots of people are having good luck with the defenders though and love them.

Man, I handled a Defender about six months ago and fell directly in LOVE!

The weight was good, the point was natural, everything about it screamed take me home...except my wallet said NO!
