bead blasting
Hello,
I have a question about bead blasting. I have a Kimber Covert, the finish is the meltdown treatment, stainless. I have talked to a gunsmith that can bead blast the gun, it has wear and needs cleaning. He would then spray a treatment of clear finish which he says is used by lawinforcement. Does anyone have any experience with bead blasting and a clear treatment sprayed ofter the blasting and cleaning? Thanks for your info! PRB |

ya its just a basic dull bead blasted finish like many knives have today. It is probley the finish your gun came with, though I dont see you really needing the clear coat.
