Scott, i have a trigger job question... (didn't know where to post)
i noticed you have two options. one for $100 using stock parts and $250 for new parts.
I have the SA Full Silze loaded with the adjustable trigger. Would you say it's good enough to go with the $100 package or is the new parts just that much better. i really want to get used to my 1911 but even with controlled aiming, i can't seem to control the pull like i can with my xd's. it seems a little tight or it's just way different than i'm used to. here's my gun: i like the actaul trigger but not sure if the internals a any good.

If I ever get a 1911, I'm going to ask you where you got those grips

Depends on how long you want it to last and how low to go with the weight. The stock stuff is ok, but I will not go below 3# with stock internals. I'm picky about the parts I use for rebuilds and they aren't cheap, and once you pull the trigger on one you know why.

The parts in a loaded are more than fine, IMHO.
I had the SA Custom shop do mine and they worked it over, using stock parts. Granted, they only set it to a 3.5# pull, but it has a reset you would not believe! It's like 1/16th of an inch or less.
