Grips for the 1911

What grips does everyone have on their 1911? And how do you like them?

Currently I'm have Pachmayr Signature series grips, but recently I've been looking at Gunner Grips and VZ gips.

Hogue Rosewood checkered. Plain and perfect. My 22 1911 has the same grips, and my RCPII has the stock grips.

My Springfield stainless GI wears the Wilson emblem Kingwood double diamond grips.

The 1973 Colt Combat Commander (satin nickel finish) wears a pair of black buffalo horn grips with the silver Colt medallions from Ajax Grips.

The 1952 Agrentine Sistema wears a set of Mexican silver hand engraved grips that have a floral theme that looks like saddle tooling (bought in Lardeo by a Mexican gentleman that hand engraves these things...no they weren't cheap!).

When I get the Kimber Custom II, the Mexican silver grips are going on that beauty and my old set of Wilson cocobolos will go on the Sistema.

Simonich's Gunners grip(on the left), great tactical grip but better use gloves if you plan to shoot alot.

I have a set of Hogue grey laminates on order. They take 90 days, so I'm still waiting.
