i have several i use...Kimber Desert Warrior grips on a Springfield Loaded, Hogue Wrap around rubber grips, or just plain cocobolo wood grips.

Kimber custom target 2 and Springfield Loaded wear Black Linnen Micarta double diamond cut for the S&A magwell and the old Mil spec wears the factory Springfield crossed cannon grips off the new loaded. When I install the magwell on it I will probably try some of Esmarelda's fancy burl grips . The CDP wears the factory Kimber grips.

I have soem VZ gator grips on my 1911. THey are great and feel grippy. I might be buying a Para double stck 1911 today and will need to find something for that.

I use ERGO XT's. They're cheap and work great if you like a very rough grip..
