This are two of my three 1911's, the other not picture is a Springfield GI with a few extras, all three have a fast shooting safety from cylinder & slide.This is what happens when the dremmel runs wild....

If you are talking to me no it is a Dawson Precision base pad. I don't have a MagWell fitted to it yet. So it looks a little strange.

This is my Springfield 1911-A1 GI .45, everything using original parts except the grips, which are Hogue grips, only for the purpose of keeping my original grips in their original condition. I, surprisingly, actually like the low sights, as well as the trigger, and shoot quite well with it, that I don't even consider making any other changes to the gun, except perhaps a guide rod laser. I MAY get night-sights, but I'm unsure about that. I'm waiting to find a wooden grip that suits me perfectly before changing my grips again, but for the moment, this grip has been very comfortable, and still concealable. I don't see myself getting any other pistol, to be honest, after using this, and my XD9SC.
