Picked up a couple...
My buddy asked me if I was interested in a couple of 1911's he was thinking of getting rid of, and offered a great price on 'em...who was I to say no?
Canadian made P14.45 Limited that's had a few upgrades--Brown barrel, King's bushing, and C&S (I believe) internals..done by a very reputable local smith. Accuracy-wise, it holds darn near even with my Baer. Think I'm going to replace the sights with some night sights...and, lord help me, some type of hard-use finish...
And a Kimber Custom II; mechanically, it is solid as can be...has some holster wear, but I think this pistol was carried a lot and shot very little.

What do you think about the difference in cocking serrations on the guns? I prefer the serrations on my Range Officer over my EMP (which are more like the 14.45 vs the Kimber).

The "purist" in me prefers the vertical serrations (and would prefer no forward serrations) as being traditional.
However...aesthetically, the diagonal serrations look better to me.
If you are referring to the width...I prefer the narrow style like the Para has.
