A few years ago I bought a Dan Wesson PM in 45 acp new in box and I just gave it a quick clean and lube and brought it to the range and fired 200 rounds of my reloads . No drama or voodoo break in ideas. Quality 1911s should run perfect out of the box. The Dan Wessons are quality and hard to beat at twice the price.

Nice pick up! With those grips, it actually looks very similar to the TRP that comes with the larry davidson gray/black horned lizard grips.
Looks like a shooter too. Congrats!

My VBOB
DWs are superb pistols. I have a VBOB and it has the best trigger of all eleven of my 1911s. Good luck with it.
