Shot a buddy of mines older DW, nice gun, shot great. But for the money... Ill keep my springer lightweight. Now when I win the lotto, Ill be getting a Dan Wesson. But still keeping my springer.

I own a handful of 1911s and asking me to pick one over the others is like asking me to pick a favorite child.

Each (1911 and child ) has its quirks and strengths.

If I had to pick between your two choices, I'd have to pick DW. I own a Dan Wesson Pointman 7... very, very nice pistol:
