Good to hear and thank you much.  I'll still ask them what the signiificance is between them and if the " 2012" designation is on both now. Gonna order some from CM today I guess.

I sold my 4 ea 2011 models to a local guy that had another 1911, and been waiting for the 2012 to hit MidwayUSA. Kind of a crap shoot to know which ones we'll get ordering online unless you order from Chip himself.
Here is a picture before I sold them, gosh I miss the large capacity magazines.

Man, what a good looking pistol. Glad I have one too. I did call today and the cs lady said they've already been shipping the '12 versions (Power and Power+). I plan to get them from the Chip directly anyway. She said to get the Power+ if I had an aluminum frame. Otherwise, get the Power.

What does the TRP have that causes interference with these magazines? Can someone post a pic of the area in question that is causing the trouble? Do any of the other Springfield .45's have this issue with the CM 10 rounders? I have a total of 7 Springfield 1911's, but not the TRP. I was going to get several of these, but I don't want to buy into grief. Thanks

After just talking to Star with Chip Mc, I went ahead and ordered a couple (for now anyway) 10rnd PowerMag (reg). She said that they are now the redesigned 2012 models to fit our TRP's. Should get um in a few days.

Well, my 10 rnd PowerMags came yesterday and they do have "12" stamped on them. Glad they made the correction themselves, which makes it a whole lot easier. Maybe grips now.

What's odd is I just picked up an older TRP operator full rail. And the 2011 cmc 10 rounder fits in the magwell just fine?! haha
But it won't fit in my newer TRP...

Very good! For me, I didn't have one to try. But I bet all the others that had a problem with theirs wish that had been the case too.
