I stopped by a small gun shop in Festus MO, Blackwoods Guns (30 mi south of STL) and they had the new Ruger for $619. It felt and pointed GREAT!!! I wasnt carrying my "gun cash" or I would have bought it and shipped it to my FFL in Kansas. I cant wait to buy one of these!!!!!!!

Got the black Alumagrips on order! Thanks for the suggestion. They look to be awesome. I reason I went with the alumagrips is because I didn't want rubber, plastic or wood. I wanted something that looks great and I don't have to worry about cleaning chemicals/solvents.

I also want to preserve the stock Ruger grips, not beat them all to hell with cleaning agents and wear.

I will post pics when I get them and have them installed.

yea, but it's not much money for the gun you will get - but I have developed a strong bias in only 17 days
