PARA PDA 9mm need your help

First off I have never owned a single stack 1911 style pistol (if you want to call these compacts real 1911s)I have been looking for a Para PDA ( CSX89R )with the LDA trigger in 9mm to see how the double action only feels and how my hand fits it and the fit and finish is,the reviews online I have read sound good, but I cant find one anywhere to check out.I would like to know if anyone has one and could give me there review on it. In 9mm or 40
I also realy like the Springfield EMP (which I can find and might end up buying) I like it better than the Kimber Ultra carry II, but I like the idea of double action only on the Para so I wouldnt have to carry with it cocked and locked.
Yep I know cocked and locked isnt that much different than having the PDA with one in the chamber, hammer down safety on,I'm just not use to having a semi auto with a hammer,XD9 habit..

Any help or advice from anyone would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Steve

The Para is junk. If you don't want cocked and locked, you don't need a 1911.

I've also researched the Para is less than stellar.
I was considering a Warthog until I researched it.

I also agree with the cocked and locked statement...
If you want a 9mm cocked and locked carry 1911, then the 9mm EMP would be the way to go.
I bought the CDP II in 9mm because the 9mm EMP is nonexistent around here..

i have the para gi expert, which is a fantastic 1911. but it's not made like any other para (for one, it doesn't have that power extractor or a ramped barrel). i wouldn't buy any other para, though.

all the folks at the range that have para's i've talked to are quite happy with them.

however, for a compact, i would go with the EMP.
