Slim Magwell for TRP with VZ ultra slim gator back grips?

Quick question guys...I put on a set of Ultra Slim VZ gator back grips on my TRP today. (they are fantastic by the way. Fit and feel perfect!)

What is my best/easiest option for swapping out the factory magwell with a slim version? Links or pics would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't have any pics but Smith and Alexander make a slim Magwell that works perfectly with the slim grips. I put one one my LW Operator and love it. They are a great company who make a great product.

How much slimmer are the new grips compared to the factory grips? Have you measured the thickness of both grips? Is it any easier to get to the mag release?

With the original slim grips, it was extremely low profile. You can definitely tell in the comparison photos and you can feel it when you grip the gun. No need for a thumb relief at the mag release with that setup. Sorry, I never actually measured their thicknesses.

With the new carbon fiber grips, I don't think it's actually thinner than factory. Maybe a few thousandths. It just feels lower profile because it's not as aggressive in texture.

The TRP is definitely sharp enough in the front strap to make up for the less aggressive grips now, hah. For me, it feels just right now.

I have VZ aliens on my other TRP and those are more aggressive but feel great as well.
