I really dont have a MIM adversion as the rest of my 1911's are CHOCKED FULL of that stuff and run just fine. Just sucks that MIM does not take at all to any sort of polishing.

My Dan Wesson has no MIM, but my colts and paras run fine..even my 3" defender..That being said I'd compare the others to good fords and chevys etc.. The Dan Wesson is like a mercedes in comparison..It's thghter,more accurate,feels better(bobtail) and they don't cost more..
