Range report my new Kimber

Took my new Kimber Pro Carry II out for a test run today. I fed her everything from hand rolled flying ashtrays to cheap FMJ, she ate them all without a single hiccup. Recoil and muzzle flip was surprisingly mild seemingly less than my Commander was. Accuracy was,,,, well lets just say this pistol is far more accurate than I am. The fit and function, the precision of this pistol exceeds all my expectations. I don't know how I ever got along without it...

All targets shot at 10 yards with Aguilla 230 grain FMJ...

5 rounds...

10 rounds...

20 rounds...

I know this pistol is capable of far better than what I have shown here, but I was having so much fun I didn't really care, I am happy with these...

That's exactly how I feel about my Kimber. I'm getting another one. And hey... I see what the problem is with your shooting... You'll get MUCH better results with the target right side up!

Good choice. I have a Raptor II and a Stainless Steel Compact 40, don't ask where I found that because it was left over from a special run Kimber did for a LEA, and I just love them. The 40 is my primary carry gun a;though the big one will probably take over when cold weather comes and I can wear something a bit heavier.
