Hey, everyone.
New to the forums, about to make a purchase on a Springfield XD .45 Tactical w/ Streamlight TLR-1 for duty. I work in the Chicago-land area as a LEO, just thought I'd drop in and say hello. Hello!

Pretty good. Just making the transition from 4 months on midnights, to 4 months on days, so I can't sleep. Haha, sucks, gonna be a long one tomorrow.

To be honest, I am in-different on the situation. I do believe there should be stricter screening against who can and can't have guns. But it's impossible to stop it nowadays. Once you become a Law Enforcement Officer your viewpoints change. I used to think everyone should be able to carry, now I am more pro-gun control with the exception of LE and Military. I think every citizen has the right to own one, but should not have the right to carry. It should be limited to the home. Have one or two scary scenarios with a gun on a traffic stop and you'll know what I mean.
